Emerald Assure is a structured eight-dimension evaluation of every candidate Emerald submits. Every shortlist arrives with a Delivery Assurance Scorecard, a Candidate Assessment Profile, and a clear Emerald Recommendation — included as standard on every placement, at no additional cost.
Emerald Assure is not a screening call. It is a structured evaluation methodology applied consistently to every candidate, regardless of role seniority or specialism. The output gives your hiring process something to validate — not something to evaluate.
Before the evaluation interview is scheduled, every candidate's profile is reviewed against defined criteria — specialism match, location, availability, budget alignment, English proficiency indicators, and warning indicators. Candidates who do not meet the standard do not proceed to the evaluation interview.
A structured 30-minute evaluation interview conducted by an experienced technology delivery professional. The interview is recorded and made available to the client with candidate consent — so you can see how the candidate communicates, thinks, and solves problems, not just what they said on paper.
Each candidate is scored across all eight performance dimensions against a defined framework. Technical capability is one dimension — delivery maturity, communication alignment, governance compatibility, and cultural integration are weighted equally. Only candidates who meet the standard are submitted.
A transparent, dimension-by-dimension scored output — a structured evidence base behind every hiring decision and every subsequent quarterly review. The Scorecard travels with the candidate throughout their engagement.
A structured client-facing profile carrying the full Emerald Assure evaluation — dimensional scores, assessed strengths and development areas, and a clear Emerald Recommendation. Only Proceed or Proceed with Conditions candidates generate a CAP. Candidates who do not meet the standard are not submitted.
Technical capability is one dimension. The other seven are what most agencies never ask about — and what most failed placements come down to.
The following is an illustrative example of how Emerald Assure works in practice — from role brief to shortlist submission for a mid-level Azure Cloud Engineer placement.
The client submits a requirement for a mid-level Azure Cloud Engineer — three to five years of experience, strong Azure DevOps and Bicep skills, client-facing delivery experience, and integration into a UK-based team operating across two time zones.
Emerald confirms the brief, clarifies the team culture and working model, and agrees the Emerald Assure evaluation criteria specific to this role and client context.
Emerald identifies twelve candidates through active LATAM network sourcing and AI-assisted outreach. Eight respond. Six proceed to initial screening.
Three candidates pass the pre-screen and are invited to the evaluation interview. Three do not meet the standard and are not taken further. The client sees none of this — only the candidates who pass proceed.
Each of the three candidates completes a structured 30-minute evaluation interview with an experienced technology delivery professional — recorded with candidate consent. The interview follows a defined question framework mapped to all eight dimensions, with role-specific technical questions for the Azure Cloud specialism.
Each candidate is scored across all eight dimensions immediately after the interview. Two of the three candidates meet the standard across all dimensions. One scores well technically but shows material weakness in Governance Compatibility — a significant concern given the client's regulated environment.
Two Delivery Assurance Scorecards are produced. The third candidate is not submitted. The client never sees an unsatisfactory candidate.
Two Candidate Assessment Profiles are produced — one for each submitted candidate. Each CAP carries the full dimensional scorecard, a narrative summary of assessed strengths and development areas, the recorded interview link, and the Emerald Recommendation.
The client receives both CTPs, both scorecards, and both interview recordings. Their hiring process begins with a full evaluation — not a discovery exercise.
Every submitted candidate carries one of two Emerald Recommendations, supported by the full Emerald Assure scorecard — so you can see exactly why.
Submit a requirement and Emerald will return a shortlist — each candidate fully assessed, scored, and profiled — within 15 business days.
